Short version: nine dollars, once, buys you Dogtor for as long as it exists. If it is not what the page said it would be, you get the nine dollars back. Everything below is that, in more careful words.
Who you are buying from
Lemon Squeezy LLC is the merchant of record. Your payment contract is with them, they issue the invoice and they handle VAT. Dogtor itself is made and supported by Nik in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Support for anything other than a payment problem comes from us, at nik@getdogtor.com.
What founding access is
- A single payment of $9, not a subscription. Nothing renews and nothing is charged again.
- A lifetime licence to use Dogtor for your own dogs, including every future feature, for as long as the app exists. At launch Dogtor is $4.99 a month; founding owners never pay that.
- A licence key, issued the moment you pay and delivered in your receipt. It is personal to you. It can be activated on a limited number of devices, which is enough for your phones and a replacement. It is not for sharing or reselling.
- iPhone first, Android after. Your access covers both, whichever you are on.
When you get it
No date is promised, because none is known. Your licence key reaches you immediately. Your download link is emailed to the same address the day the app is ready. If Dogtor is never released, your $9 is refunded automatically, without you asking for it.
Under EU consumer law, where no delivery period has been agreed, delivery is due within 30 days and you may withdraw and be refunded if it is not met. That right stands alongside the refund policy below, which is more generous than the law requires.
What Dogtor is not
Dogtor is a record between you and your vet. It is not a medical device and not veterinary advice. It records what you tell it and shows it back clearly. It does not diagnose, it does not suggest or adjust treatment and it does not tell you to change anything about your dog's care. Your vet decides. Never delay veterinary attention because of something you read in the app.
Fair use
Use Dogtor for your own animals. Do not resell it, share your licence key, attempt to bypass the licence or reverse engineer the app except where the law says you may.
Liability
Dogtor is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, liability is limited to what you paid, which is $9. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud, nor any right you have as a consumer that cannot be signed away.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Slovenia. If you are a consumer in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them and founding owners are told by email. A change never removes something you have already paid for.
